About Canadian ice hockey player Taylor Hall Biography

Taylor Strba Hall famed as Taylor Hall is a Canadian professional ice hockey left winger currently playing for the Arizona Coyotes of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was the first overall pick in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft selected by the Edmonton Oilers. In 2016, he was traded to the New Jersey Devils in exchange for Adam Larsson. In his second season with the Devils, Hall won the Hart Memorial Trophy as the NHL's most valuable player, becoming the first Devils player in franchise history to win the award. The Arizona Coyotes made a blockbuster trade Monday (16th December 2019). Arizona acquired star forward Taylor Hall, who can be an unrestricted free agent this coming July, from the New Jersey Devils. The Coyotes also got prospect Blake Speers from the Devils in exchange for their 2020 first-round pick (unless the unlikely happens and it’s in the top three), a conditional third-round pick in 2021 (which becomes a second-round pick if the Coyotes win a round in the Stanley Cup playoffs or Hall re-signs; it becomes another first-round pick if the Coyotes win a playoff round and Hall re-signs), prospect Kevin Bahl of the Ottawa 67s (OHL) and pro prospects Nick Merkley and Nate Schnarr. Hall has shown no inclination to sign an extension without testing free agency, which was a major reason New Jersey decided to jettison him a little more than three years after acquiring him from Edmonton.
