Michael Rainey Jr. is an American actor who is known for his recurring roles on the hit Netflix series "Orange Is the New Black" as Michael as well as on Starz network's hit show "Power" as a role of Tariq St. Patrick. He has also starred in the 2016 film "Barbershop: The Next Cut". He began his career doing commercials in both print and television. He also was featured as a child on "Sesame Street". His first film in America is "Learning Uncle Vincent (LUV)". He made a debut in the American comedy-drama web television series "Orange Is the New Black" as Michael Burset and then in the crime drama television series "Power as Tariq St. Patrick". As recent news, he wants to get in shape for the Starz spinoff "Power Book II: Ghost," premiering Sunday, or at least not look "like a twig" in his love scenes. He was also nominated in the category "Outstanding Performance by a Youth" at the 49th NAACP Image Awards and for "Best Performance Drama" at the NAMIC Vision Awards, 2018.
