Meghan Marguerite McCain famed as Meghan McCain is an American columnist, author, as well as the co-host of The View, and an ABC News contributor. She is famous for being the daughter of the 2008 presidential candidate and U.S. senator John McCain and Cindy McCain. She rose to fame in 2007 for her blog, McCain Blogette on which she documented life on the campaign trail and mused about fashion, music, and pop culture. She then joined Fox News as a contributor in July 2015 and was named a regular co-host of the afternoon talk program Outnumbered on November 14, 2016. Whoopi Goldberg used her First Amendment rights to tell Meghan McCain to “stop talking.” Longtime co-host Sunny Hostin was explaining how she found it hypocritical that Republicans who voted to impeach Bill Clinton did not do the same for Donald Trump. Before Hostin could continue, Meghan McCain chimed in: “But my job here is not to litigate the ethics of it. I’m an ABC political analyst along with being a View co-host,” McCain said. Earlier this year, there were reports that McCain was leaving the show due to unrest, but ABC denied them and she came back for The View’s 23rd season.
