An American conservative political commentator, political strategist, media personality, author, Margaret Claire Hoover is prominently known as Margaret Hoover. She is most popular as the great-granddaughter of Herbert Hoover, the 31st U.S. President. She is the author of the book "American Individualism: How A New Generation of Conservatives Can Save the Republican Party", published by Crown Forum in 2011. She is committed to publicizing her great-grandfather Herbert Hoover's legacy. She has PBS's reboot of the moderate meeting show "Firing Line". Margaret is a also recognized advocate for gay rights, including the right to gay marriage, and believes that individual freedom and marriage are core conservative values. She also believes that the laws of oppression go against the notion of freedom.
