Lesley Stahl Biography

An American journalist, Lesley Stahl is well recognized for her news and television investigations, and award-winning foreign reporting. She has spent most of her career with CBS News, where she began as a producer in 1971 though she has reported for CBS's "60 Minutes" since 1991. She was a White House correspondent for Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, and George H.W. Bush. Prior to joining CBS News, she was functioning as a maker and live correspondent at Channel 5, WHDH-television, in Boston. As of now, Stahl is functioning as an essayist and anchor at CBS-television in New York City. She turned into a journalist in 1974. She showed up on the NBC sitcom Frasier, playing herself in the scene "Desperately Seeking Closure" in 1998. She gained much media attention for her interview with President Donald Trump in which he stopped the interview short and walked out due to his objections to her warning him about "tough questions" which he believed was "inappropriate" in 2020.
