An English actress and presenter, Katherine Bridget Kelly is professionally known as Katherine Kelly. In 2003, she made her tv debut by appearing on "Last of the Summer Wine". She is best known for her role as Becky McDonald in the ITV soap opera "Coronation Street" and was initially contracted to spend only three months on "Coronation Street", but after impressing the producers, she was written in as a permanent character. Previously, she trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), London, where she was classmates with Meredith MacNeill and Laurence Fox. In 2012, she has won multiple awards, including a National Television Award for "Best Serial Drama Performance". Kelly has joined the cast of "Liar" for its second series in 2020. She has appeared in many films and series like Sons and Lovers, Official Secrets, Gentleman Jack, Strike Back, The Night Manager, The Visit, No Angels, and many more.
