John Stamos Biography

An American actor, producer, musician, comedian, and singer, John Stamos is well known for playing the role of Jesse Katsopolis in the ABC drama sitcom, "Full House". He reprised the same role in the sequel series "Fuller House", which was broadcasted on Netflix. Previously, he worked for his father's restaurants, and as a teenager had a job flipping burgers in the Orange County area. He released an independent album, "Shades of Blue" in 1994 and made his theatrical film debut in the leading role in "Never Too Young to Die" in 1986. In 1982, John Stamos made his first TV show appearance in the role of Blackie Parrish in the medical drama series, "General Hospital" for which he won a Daytime Emmy Award nomination. He also starred as Dr. Tony Gates on the medical drama "ER" from 2006 to 2009 and played Connor McClane in the third season of "Necessary Roughness" in 2013. He was cast as the lead character, Jimmy Martino, in the FOX comedy series "Grandfathered" in 2015. He has won several awards in his careers like the People's Choice Awards and Young Artist Awards.
