Frank Ocean

Christopher Edwin Cooksey famed as Frank Ocean is an American singer, songwriter, rapper, record producer, as well as a photographer who began his musical career as a ghostwriter, prior to joining the hip hop collective Odd Future in 2010. He is famous for his unique musical style, unconventional production techniques, and wide vocal range. He gained wide recognition after the release of his mixtape, "Nostalgia, Ultra" in 2011. He released debut studio album Channel Orange (2012). At the 2013 Grammy Awards, it was nominated for Album of the Year and won Best Urban Contemporary Album. The album's hit single "Thinkin Bout You" also gained Ocean a nomination for Record of the Year at the ceremony. He also premiered his latest track "DHL" on Saturday, 19th October 2019. He has been a special photographer for Vogue at the annual Met Gala and made two covers and a visual essay for British fashion magazine i-D. He released two new songs, "Dear April" and "Cayendo," on his Blonded YouTube channel and streaming services Friday. Those two vinyl disks featured the "acoustic" A-sides that were released today, as well as B-side remixes from French electronic duo Justice and hip-hop producer Sango, which have not yet been made widely available.
