Darren Criss is an American actor, singer, and songwriter. He is a founding member and co-owner of StarKid Productions, a musical theater company based in Chicago. Criss is the very first Asian American actor to win an Emmy for acting. He has taken the No. 1 spot on People With Money’s top 10 highest-paid actors for 2020 with an estimated $46 million in combined earnings. People With Money reports on April 16, 2020, reported that Criss is the highest-paid actor in the world, pulling in an astonishing $46 million between March 2019 and March 2020, a nearly $20 million lead over his closest competition. He also became the 400,000th member of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) on December 10, 2010.
