About Daniel Cameron Daniel Jay Cameron, popularly known as Daniel Cameron is an American politician and attorney. He is currently serving as the 1st Attorney General of Kentucky since January 2020. He is Republican and is the first Republican elected to the office since 1944. He is also the first African-American attorney general of Kentucky. He is a former collegiate football player who played for the Louisville Cardinals football team.
