A Canadian Singer-Songwriter is named for Brett Kissel who is famous for his Warner Music Canada debut album, "Started with a Song" and for hit singles such as "3-2-1" and "Tough People Do." He started playing the guitar when he was just six years old, and by the age of twelve, had recorded his first album, "Keepin' It Country". He has always been a fan of Johnny Cash. When he released his first album, it included two Johnny Cash covers of "Tennessee Flat Top Box" and "Big River".He has received an armful of Canadian Country Music Association Awards, (including two straight wins for Male Artist of the Year and the coveted Fans' Choice). Breakthrough Artist of the Year winner at the JUNO Awards, and was recognized as the International Artist of the Year at the Worldwide Radio Summit in Hollywood, California (an honor bestowed upon Ed Sheeran and Adele in the last two years respectively).
